~God has Spoken, the NAACP has Spoken and so
has the Governor of Arkansas~
April
3, 2016 | Arkansas State Capitol | 2:30pm-3:30pm— Before the Franklin Graham and the National Day of
Prayer Rally convenes in the next 2 and 3 weeks, Arkansas prayer leaders have some serious prayer work to do. A Prayer Rally Advocating and advancing the
MLK Holiday Exclusive Celebration lead by AR NAACP Leaders and embraced by
Governor Asa Hutchinson will take place on Sunday, April 3rd from 2:30pm-3pm
at the Arkansas State Capitol. The rally motions Arkansas to
move up and join the nation in celebrating the MLK Holiday as an “exclusive”
day of honor and thereby relegating the Robert
E. Lee Day to another day.
Sunday, April 3, marks the 48th Anniversary of the
final prophecy uttered by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He delivered
this at Mason Temple Church of God in Christ in Memphis, TN.
It tribute and in prayers of proclamation and
thanksgiving, leaders from the National Day of Prayer Task Force, pastors from
across the state, faith-based and community based organizations will join the
AR NAACP to add a voice of prayerful support and advancement to Governor
Hutchinson's letter to the NAACP and keynote address delivered on 9.11.2015 at
the NAACP State Convention advancing this legislation.
The producers of FEEL THE MOVEMENT; From Prophecy to
Promise from The College of Aspiring Artists are documenting the process along
the way.
King told the nation 48 years ago- “We have
some difficult days ahead, but I'm not concerned about that now, I just want to
do God's will, and he's allowed me to go up to the Mountaintop and I've looked
over and I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you but I
want you to know that we as a people will get to the Promised Land.” King's utterance was divinely accurate.
Rev. King's prophecy has been and continues to be fulfilled
in many ways. We made it to the White House and are still moving forward
with many progressive testimonies from prophecy to promise.
The call to action now is to move with the NAACP,
the Governor and all persons and organizations who want to see this done during
the upcoming special session of the AR Legislature.
Give
Us This Day is
the degree that began on 9.11.2015 and it will be proclaimed until the
legislation is done. We invite all who support this effort to join us on steps
of the Capitol.
Here's a moment of reflection in tribute from the mind and voice of Rev. Dr. King from Rally 1 on MLK Holiday 2016.
