D.D., a pastor and Biblical Rights activist who played a key role in the first
three years of the Federal MLK Holiday from Memphis, Tennessee, including his
deliverance of the opening tribute for debut of the National Civil Rights

national tributes to Rev. Dr. King and has documented these ‘prophecy to

what happened beyond King’s ‘final prophecy’ delivered on April 3, 1968, from
Mason Temple Church of God in Christ. Hunt worked for and was a member of this
institution for over 40 years. The College of Aspiring Artists (where Hunt is
Founder) is partnering with a nationally known publishing company to release
the bible in 2018 along with its companion app. </div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 10pt;">Arkansas Will Get This One Right</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 10pt;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 10pt;">Arkansas...
(and this means- ALL OF US who live in this great state), we are well past the
time of patience having time to do what the meaning and purpose
of 'patience' is truly assigned to do. My first question
regarding this 'way past due' debate/delay on separating the King-Lee Holiday
in the ARK is this- When will we learn and stop being 'ever-learning' and
never coming to the knowledge of truth? This is what the Apostle Paul
shared with his spiritual son, Timothy in his New Testament writing that
applied to those in his day, but it is so relevant and applicable to
our present day in Arkansas. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 10pt;">When we
see the title/salutation 'Reverend' addressing Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., it
signifies that we are giving honor to a minister/pastor/preacher/prophet.
When you add the significance of a having a Federal Holiday in
his honor for 34 years (which was achieved through the intense disciplines
and scrutiny of much prayer, protest and legislation), it's pretty simple to
deduce why this holiday should be exclusive to his honor. And while it
took from 1983-2000 for all states to come online and honor this day,
sadly, Arkansas continues to join Mississippi and Alabama in a three way
tie for last place in giving the exclusive honor to Rev. Dr. King on his day. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 10pt;">My final
question- How does anyone conjure up rationale to add 'anyone' and place
them on such a day of honor without equal scrutiny and likewise
achievement of the same status before even thinking of assigning them a dual
celebration on the Federal Holiday in that persons honor? <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 10pt;">So
yes- Arkansas for the sake of moving up to the respectable
national code of honor and ethics, let's not let this moment further delay
us and continue our reputation of being last to come to the light of progress
and understanding in matters as significant and substantive as this. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 10pt;">My prayer
and ongoing advocacy from every post that I represent, is for
Arkansas to do 'whatever it takes' to get this legislation passed. Will my
prayer be answered with this passing before 2018? <u>Yes</u> and I say
yes even if it takes a Special Session to get it done. I will share the
prophetic rationale in an upcoming post. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">

<b>Contrary to popular polls and

<b><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">WHY I’M SHARING THIS STORY WITH THE PREACHERS OF ARKANSAS:<o:p></o:p></span></b></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">
<b>Like many
preachers, I never wanted to be a preacher.</b>
As a child, being one of nine siblings (not to mention others who lived
with us, along with two sisters who were adopted into the family), I saw too
much stress and struggle on my parents and their parents who were in full-time
ministry. Did I see any honor and glory
moments? Yes, but the way I saw them live by faith from day to day was way too
much for me to choose ministry as a way of life. (I do have a powerful legacy
testimony of triumph, but we will save it for another time in the very near
future (hint: September 1, 2016 at <i>The
Legacy Assignment</i> <i>2016</i> Convention
and Reunion at my church). Eventually, I came to accept the work and honor of
being called into the ministry. It was
no easy task and today I still have my challenges, but I have come to know that
God is faithful. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Besides giving
honor to my father/dad both in biological and spiritual works as his successor
as pastor, I have been blessed to give honor to The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr., with national tributes now for over 25 years. In short, it began with me producing the
first three years of the federal holiday in his honor in Memphis, TN beginning
in 1990. I was blessed to bring in notables including the late Dr. E.V. Hill,
Clifton Davis, along with members of the King Family who delivered keynote
addresses and were honored by thousands who attended. A major moment was when I
was asked to do the opening tribute for the National Civil Rights Museum on the
MLK Holiday in 1992. These years gave
me joy and revealed clarity as to why MLK Holiday is the ‘day of honor’ that
God has ordained for His preachers in this nation. <o:p></o:p></div>

<b>Nearly one year ago, on June 17, 2015,
Reverend-Senator, Pastor Clementa Pinckney and eight others were killed
(sacrificed) by a gunman proclaiming hate for African-Americans inside the
Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina</b>. This
sparked a national movement. This happened in a church, not the streets, but in
a Bible study. God wants to teach a lesson on love and who better than ‘we the
preachers’ to talk it out and to walk it out in this moment? Immediately following this massacre, leaders
from the Arkansas NAACP and The College of Aspiring Artists met with Governor
Hutchinson and his chief of staff regarding why this was the set moment for
Arkansas to reset and focus on giving the full honor due to the King Holiday.
From a meeting in June 2015, to a letter of support in July, the Governor
agreed to speak on 9.11.2015, in advocacy of making MLK Holiday an exclusive
day of honor to The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. </div>

<b>April
3, 2016 | Arkansas State Capitol | 2:30pm-3:30pm— </b><o:p></o:p>Before the Franklin Graham and the National Day of
Prayer Rally convenes in the next 2 and 3 weeks, Arkansas prayer leaders have some serious prayer work to do. A Prayer Rally Advocating and advancing the
MLK Holiday Exclusive Celebration lead by AR NAACP Leaders and embraced by
Governor Asa Hutchinson will take place on Sunday, April 3rd from 2:30pm-3pm
at the Arkansas State Capitol. <strong><span style="font-family: "calibri" , "sans-serif"; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin;">The rally motions Arkansas to

Sunday, April 3, marks the 48th Anniversary of the
final prophecy uttered by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He delivered
this at Mason Temple Church of God in Christ in Memphis, TN. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">
It tribute and in prayers of proclamation and
thanksgiving, leaders from the National Day of Prayer Task Force, pastors from
across the state, faith-based and community based organizations will join the
AR NAACP to add a voice of prayerful support and advancement to Governor
Hutchinson's letter to the NAACP and keynote address delivered on 9.11.2015 at
the NAACP State Convention advancing this legislation. <o:p></o:p></div>

the way. <o:p></o:p></div>

<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">
King told the nation 48 years ago- <i>“We have
some difficult days ahead, but I'm not concerned about that now, I just want to
do God's will, and he's allowed me to go up to the Mountaintop and I've looked
over and I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you but I
want you to know that we as a people will get to the Promised Land.” </i>King's utterance was divinely accurate. <i> </i><o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">
Rev. King's prophecy has been and continues to be fulfilled
in many ways. We made it to the White House and are still moving forward
with many progressive testimonies from prophecy to promise. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">
The call to action now is to move with the NAACP,
the Governor and all persons and organizations who want to see this done during
the upcoming special session of the AR Legislature.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="background: white; margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">

<b>Give
Us This Day</b> is
the degree that began on 9.11.2015 and it will be proclaimed until the
legislation is done. We invite all who support this effort to join us on steps
of the Capitol. <o:p></o:p></div>

God for his grace and provisions, but also a strong decree requesting state
leaders to make ready and pray forward the plans and the works that must take
place for Arkansas to celebrate the MLK Holiday 2016 as an exclusive celebration
and thereby no longer being a part of a dual celebration with the Robert E. Lee
Day.</span><span style="text-align: justify;"> The event was sponsored in part by The College of Aspiring Artists with CEO, Rev. Arthur L. Hunt, Jr., D.D., serving as Facilitator. </span></div>

<b>After the moving address by Governor Asa Hutchinson affirming the purpose and passion for AR to move forward and celebrate the MLK Holiday as a day of honor 'exclusively' for Rev. Dr. King, statewide leaders from the arenas of clergy, legislators, faith-based
organizations, educators, community, corporate and youth leaders, and activists
unanimously agreed that MLK Holiday 2016 and beyond should be an exclusive day
of honor for Rev. Dr. King. To God be the Glory. </b><br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>This is a historic moment for persons across the nation to come 'together as one' joining the online movement event live or in person by wearing this key awareness symbol and demonstration badge of honor and advocacy. Bracelet owners signify their advocacy for all states to honor the MLK Holiday ‘exclusively’ and no longer share the day with General Robert E. Lee. Arkansas’ Governor Asa Hutchinson has written a letter of support and recently delivered a powerful concurring keynote address at the AR 9.11 NAACP 70th Convention in support of this exclusive day of honor to Rev. Dr. King. We believe that MLK Day should be focused on giving supreme honor to the Prophet, Rev. Dr. King. We further believe that the Clergy who stand in this same place today should stand together and declare this to be a 'Holy Day' and that the nation should be united as one. </b><br />
<b><br /></b>
<span style="text-align: left;">This and more was a part of the discussion
and working strategies at the prayer breakfast and the new roundtable that has
now been activated. The discussion focuses on, “reflecting the past, inspecting the present and projecting the future” in Arkansas’ race relations and especially the advancement for all people color within the state.</span></div>

On June 17, 2015, Reverend-Senator, Pastor Clementa Pinckney and eight others were killed (sacrificed) by a gunman proclaiming hate for African-Americans inside the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. From the Little Rock Nine to the Carolina Nine, a focus on how Arkansas led the nation in 1957 and how Arkansas will lead today is high on the discussion. Arkansas’ NAACP, Feel the Movement: From Prophecy to Promise and others are committed to not allowing these sacrifices to be in vain.</div>

<b>On Monday, January 18, 2016 the Arkansas NAACP will be celebrating the longest-running salute in the state of Arkansas honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., from the State Capitol.</b> Leaders will continue to discuss and make plans for MLK Holiday 2016 to give the highest honor in statewide unity on the Federal Holiday in his honor from the steps of the Arkansas State Capitol aiming to bring greater harmony in the state and nation. <br />
<strong><br /></strong>
<strong>In addition to the concerns regarding MLK 'Exclusive', there are two other key areas that will be addressed during the Rally (and throughout the year)-</strong><br />

Based on the 107 years that the NAACP has led
and served in helping to advance similar moments in Arkansas and across the
nation, along with the 35 years that the AR NAACP has stood on the steps of the
Arkansas State Capitol on the MLK Holiday honoring the works and sacrifice of Rev.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the resolve proposed herein and going forward is
confirming progress and now requests additional support from state leaders in
moving these agenda items forward. <o:p></o:p></div>

In Arkansas, it requires ministers and
spiritual surgeons and of persons of many professions such as city councils,
lawyers and people of faith to do the successful operation. It took 20 years in
Carolina for a controversial moment to be reset and resolved but the efforts finally paid off. The shootings forced a change in America and
especially in the Governor of SC, Governor Nikki Haley and the Mayor, Joseph P.
Riley, Jr., who was also one of the leaders on record calling for the rally. In Arkansas we will not let their sacrifices nor those of
the many persons in our state be in vain. Let the Roundtable and the strategic
plans begin and continue to the finish line. <o:p></o:p></div>
