Speakers at MLK events call for King-only holiday Background: In June of 2015¸ the Arkansas State NAACP initiated a conversation with Governor Asa Hutchinson and his regarding the separation of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday that is celebrated on the same day as that of the Robert E. Lee Holiday.
